Kajsa Mertens: Freshman for Women's Soccer Writes about Day 6 of Preseason!

Today we had a light training session in the morning. We just worked on set plays and did a walk through on our new formation. This was all the preparation for our scrimmage against USC Upstate. Besides meeting for meals we did not see each other again until right before the scrimmage. Our scrimmage started at 7 and you could tell everyone was a little nervous. The first half we struggled with marks. The second half we pulled it together and seemed to do better. It is clear that we have a lot to work on as a team but this looks as if it could be a promising season. After the game Coach said we could all meet at Firehouse and eat. I for one went to Applebee's for some steak. This concluded our day.
