Volleyball Struggles against Catawba Valley

The Pioneers traveled to Catawba Valley Community College Tuesday evening to play in the Eagles' opening match.  It was a pretty fast game as Catawba Valley had more energy and momentum. They defeated the Pioneers in straights sets of 15-25, 16-25, and 20-25. 

"Their offense was faster than us and although we started to catch on, it was too late by the time we did," Coach Katie Zimmerman.

The Pioneers are back in action Saturday September 1st in a tournament at Columbia College where they will play Columbia College, Morris State, and Columbia International University.
