Lady Pioneers Take a 5 Set Win Against Reinhardt JV

The Pioneers won their match on Thursday after more than 2 hours of playing. Starting off with both teams siding out almost every point, the Pioneers lost the first set 26-28. They stepped up their game and came back to take the match 2-1. Although they were ahead in the 4th, the ladies of Reinhardt came back and tied it up 2-2. In the 5th set to 15, the Pioneers stayed consistent and won with aggressive serving and raising their hitting percentage. Aeyane Mattress had another double double and Leslie Williams had over 20 digs again. Ally Ruiz came alive hitting .500 with 6 kills.

The Pioneers will be back in Burgess Arena on Tuesday, September 18th against Toccoa Falls at 6:00PM.
