Men’s Soccer Defeats #7 Louisburg and Wake Tech

Spartanburg, SC – SMC Men's Soccer Team played three tough games this past week and were able to win all three games. Two victories over Wake Tech Community College and one victory over #7 Louisburg puts the Pioneers at 10-4 on for the season. "Playing three games in 7 days is not ideal for soccer players but we were able to manage this week", said Coach Hughes. The Pioneers remaining schedule is packed with games due to the hurricane that hit the east coast earlier in the season. "We were able to pick up some very good wins this week but we are staying focused on the rest of the season as more tough games are to come", said Coach Hughes. The Pioneers are back in action on Monday October 8 at 4pm vs USC-Sumter in Sumter, SC.
