XC Hosting DI and DIII Region X Championships

Spartanburg, SC – The Spartanburg Methodist College Cross Country team will be hosting the 2018 NJCAA Region X Championships for both men's and women's, Division I and Division II at Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg, SC. Teams competing in the tournament consist of for Men's and Women's Division I: Louisburg College and Spartanburg Methodist College. For both Men's and Women's Division III: Central Carolina Community College, Patrick Henry Community College and Sandhill's Community College. This will be a free event for fans to attend and cheer on.

12:00pm (Women) 12:45pm (Men)

Scoring:                    

Div. I teams and Div. III teams will be scored separately. Top 7 individuals from each team will be scored. Team entries will be unlimited. ​Tie breakers will be determined by placement of top 5 scorers.

Awards:                   

(Div. I and Div. III awards will be awarded separately) - The winning coach of each gender will be the Coach of the Year for that specific gender.  The top 7 individuals from the Men's and Women's race will be the NJCAA Region X All-Region Team and given All-Region certificates.       ​

Course:                    

Milliken Arboretum is an all grass meadow course and it will be clearly marked. Course preview will be available Thursday 4-8pm and all day Friday.

Parking:                   

Milliken employee parking areas will not be available during normal business hours of 8am-5pm. All parking will need to be on Milliken Frontage road during those business hours. Milliken Security patrols parking strictly.  Race Day parking will be available in the associate/guest parking area marked "A" and "B".   ​

Results:                     

Results will be posted here and uploaded to TRFFS system. Hard copy results will be available after the event. We will use a manual timing system for this event and no chip timing. ​
