Men's Soccer Makes Semi-Finals
Spartanburg, SC – Mens Soccer beats Cape Fear 6-0 to advance to the semi-final round of the NJCAA Region X Championships. The Pioneers opened up the game and set the pace with a goal in the 5th minute of the game. Scoring the opening goal for the Pioneers was forward, Hykeem Martin (Greenwood, SC). Also scoring for the Pioneers was Jordan Scovel (Greenville, SC), and Jakari Davis (Greenwood, SC). This win brings the Pioneers to a record of 17-5 overall, and 15-3 in their conference. They are on a 5 game win streak and look to improve that with a win this weekend.
SMC moves onto the semi-finals to face Richard Bland College. That game will be played on the Allendale Campus of USC Salkehatchie on Saturday October 27th at 3:00pm. For more statistics on the Region X games being played go to The Region X Website.
