SMC Names Hill as Head Softball Coach

Spartanburg, SC - Spartanburg Methodist College Athletic Director, Megan Aiello, announced today the hiring of Caroline Hill as the new Head Coach for SMC Softball.  Hill served as the interim coach beginning March 22nd.  During that time, she improved the Pioneers record to 11-9 (21-25-1 overall) and earned the #1 seed in the Region X Tournament.

A 2015 graduate of SMC, Caroline was an outstanding player, two-time All-Region, 2015 Region X Player of the Year, and served as a Presidential Ambassador her sophomore year. 

Hill continued her education and playing career at Limestone College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and continued to dominate on the field - earning Conference Carolinas Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

Caroline is a Native of Inman, SC and graduated from Chapman High School in 2013.
