On behalf of the Spartanburg Methodist College Athletics Department, welcome to the “Home of the Pioneers!”

SMC offers a unique environment for our student-athletes to excel in their sport, in the classroom and in life after graduation. In addition to receiving a well-rounded education in our associate and bachelor’s degree programs, they’ll be prepared for success in their careers via the college’s innovative Camak Core.

Spartanburg Methodist College is a Division 1 member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and has more than 200 student-athletes who compete on 13 athletic teams.  Our long history of athletic excellence has allowed student-athletes the opportunity to continue their playing careers at NCAA institutions.

The student-athletes at SMC are fortunate to have experienced coaches who are committed to their programs, but more importantly, to developing the athletes as a whole. Our focus is to make sure we follow SMC’s guiding principles in all that we do:

• Achievement in all areas of endeavor – academic, athletic, leadership, and social.
• Integrity in all our dealings – with students, families, one another, and all other constituents.
• Service for the greater good – remaining true to our history and heritage, the College reaches out to students, families, alumni, and the community to enrich lives.

We are proud to call our student-athletes family, to wear the royal blue and white, and to yell “ROLLNEERS”!
