The Catawba Valley Red Hawks had 5 states represented at their Catawba Valley Invitational this past weekend on Friday, October 3 – Saturday, October 4. Spartanburg Methodist College, Pasco Hernando State College, Northern Virginia Community College, Walter State Community College and the Catawba Valley Red Hawks competed in the two day tournament with Pasco Hernando coming out on top to win the Invitational 4-0. Catawba Valley finished second with their only loss coming to the Florida Conquistadors of PHSC.

Catawba Valley is away on Monday, October 6, 2014 to face conference rival Surry Community College for a 7:00 match and away again on Tuesday, October 7th as they play Johnson and Wales University also at 7:00.

CVCC returns home Friday to host Lenoir Community College on October 10th for their annual "Dig Pink" event. Come dressed in pink and join the Lady Red Hawks to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
