SMC Beach Volleyball Loses 4-1 to No. 6 Mobile

Laurinburg, N.C. – The Spartanburg Methodist College beach volleyball team wrapped up its weekend trip to the Sun Conference pod, hosted by St. Andrews, with a 4-1 loss to No. 6 Mobile.

The Pioneers' lone win came from the No. 2 tandem of Brantlie Price and Katherine James, who secured a 21-12, 22-20 victory. It marked their team-best third win of the season.

The No. 3 team of Layla VanAernem and Bailey Beck fell in a close match, 21-11, 21-15. Also competing in a tightly contested matchup, the No. 4 pair of Brook Noe and Tristan Craine lost 21-14, 21-12.
