The Pioneer baseball team continued their strong play and went undefeated through the Region X Tournament held in Burlington, NC this week. SMC defeated USC Lancaster for the championship 8-4.
Robert Landers and Ricky Rice held the Lancers down while Region X Player of the Year, Reid Moman (3-4 RBI, 2 runs, SB, and a BB) Shell McCain (3-5, 2 runs, SB) Elliott Caldwell (2-3, 2 runs, SB and BB), and Domineke Albert (2-3 2 runs, rbi and SB) led the Pioneers offensive attack.
