There was never a doubt on Saturday afternoon as the Pioneers (7-0) quickly erased John A. Logan 12-1 in seven innings.
Freshman Tripp Rollings (Andrew Jackson High) tossed his second consecutive strong outing (6 IP, 5 hits, 8 K's). Rollings (2-0) got plenty of run support as sophomore second baseman Matt White led SMC at the plate going 3-4 with a double and rbi.
Jordan Palencia (triple) (Spartanburg, SC) and Christian Dorothy (double) went 2-4.
Jordan Garrett added a double and 3 rbi.
SMC will take on host Soutern Union State CC in the finale on Sunday at 1:00pm.
