Baseball wins three over Patrick Henry

SPARTANBURG, SC., SMC Baseball improved to 8-5 on the season as they took three out of four games this weekend over visiting Patrick Henry Community College. SMC won the first three games of the series before falling in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.  Kep Brown hit three home runs on the weekend and the Pioneers mashe seven total long balls. SMC has now hit a home run in every game but one this season.

The SMC Pioneers opened up Sunday with a 13-4 win over Patrick Henry CC. PHCC came back in the second game to win 11-4 to avoid the series sweep. Ridge Chapman (4 K, 3 BB, 3 H, 2 R, 4 IP) picked up the win in game 3 of the series.
