Pioneers sweep USC Salkehatchie, move to 7-1 in Region X play

SPARTANBURG, SC., The Pioneers swept this weekend's series vs USC Salkehatchie to improve to 23-7 on the season and 7-1 in the region. SMC scored early and often in the first game to win 13-5. Lucas Coan had an impressive outing as he went the distance to shutout USC Salk 6-0 in the second game. Ridge Chapman struck out 12 in a complete game effort on Sunday.
