Bio

Jeremy Joye enters his eighth season as Assistant Baseball Coach for the Pioneers. He is a 2001 graduate of Manning High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of South Carolina, earning a BA degree in Early Childhood Education through USC Upstate via satellite. Joye earned a Masters in Education through Anderson University in December of 2017. 

In 2005, Joye began his coaching career as an assistant for Manning High School before being named the Head Coach for the J.V. squad the following year.   He played his collegiate baseball at USC Salkehatchie under Joe Baxter. 

Joye began his college coaching career in 2007 at the University of South Carolina Sumter, serving for four seasons as the outfielders coach and assisting with hitting instruction and recruiting.  He spent the summer of 2010 as an assistant coach with the Thomasville Hi-Toms and the summer of 2011 as an assistant coach with the Columbia Blowfish, both of the Coastal Plain summer collegiate league.

A middle infielder by trade, Joye spent four seasons working with the Pioneer but currently works with outfielders. He also serves as the strength/conditioning coach and assists in recruiting.

Joye currently resides in Spartanburg with his wife Rachel and their two daughters.
