Pioneers move streak to 21-0

The Pioneers continue to improve on the longest winning streak in SMC history. Tonight, the 3rd ranked men's team extended a 11 point half time lead by holding Southern Wesleyan's JV team to seven points for most of the second half while extending the lead to close to 40 points. 11 of the 15 Pioneers got into the scoring act tonight led by Daquan Jefferies 18 points and 16 from Ronell Crockett. Ben Johnson added three 3 pointers for nine points and Jalen Nesbitt (9 points) added a highlight dunk early in the first half to spark the loud crowd once again.

"The crowd was awesome again tonight stated head coach Jeff Brookman, the guys really feed off of the crowd." "I'm happy with everyone's effort tonight, we are sharing the ball well together. "We will go back to work at practice tomorrow and keep trying to get better."

The Pioneers move to 21-0 overall and 4-0 in Region X play under 3rd year Head Coach Jeff Brookman. 

SMC will host Region X foe Aiken Technical College on Wednesday night. Let's have a large crowd out to cheer on the men!
