Pioneers pound Anderson JV's

Spartanburg, SC

The Pioneer men's basketball team returned home after a four game road trip to face Anderson University JV squad. SMC(7-3) raced out to a 50-26 halftime score behind 13 points from freshman Jailin Alexander's 13 points. Eleven Pioneers scored in the first half, SMC shot 7-9 from the charity strip also. 

The second half was just like the first as the Pioneers put up 49 points enroute to a 99-57 final score. In all, every Pioneer scored that dressed for the game. 

Alexander's 21 points led the Pioneers, Allen Upton and Kaheem Praylow chipped in eleven points each. Daniel Berends added ten points for the Pioneers.
