It's usually tough to play on the road... Not for the 4th seed SMC Men's Basketball team this year.
The Pioneers (18-11) defeated #5 Denmark Tech 85-74 in the first round of the Region X Men's Basketball Tournament.
SMC is 5-1 in Region X games on the road so far this season and will look to improve upon that record as they will face #1 Brunswick Community College in the semi-finals Friday afternoon at 5:00pm.
SMC defeated Brunswick CC 76-62 in their last meeting
