Former Pioneer Jalen Nesbitt credits SMC

SPARTANBURG, SC- Former SMC Pioneer men's basketball standout Jalen Nesbitt credits Spartanburg Methodist College for preparing him for the Division One level.

Nesbitt (Chapman High) who helped lead SMC to a 30-0 regular season in 2012-2013 plays a key role to his current North Florida team who sit at top of the Atlantic Sun standings at 10-2 so far this year, on Saturday against Northern Kentucky, Nesbitt scored a career-high 26 points while adding a game-high four steals.
