ROCK HILL, SC- Beating a team three times in a year is very hard to do at any level. The Pioneers needed to do that Tuesday night at Clinton Junior College in the first round of the Region X Tournament.
A three pointer with 2.5 seconds left on the clock would propel Clinton past SMC and into the semi-finals with a 75-72 win. Clinton will face #1 seed Cape Fear CC on Friday. SMC ends the year with a 19-11 record.
