SWAINSBORO, GA., SMC Men's Basketball got back on track with a 70-66 road win on Wednesday night at East Georgia State College. The Bobcats were previously unbeaten entering the contest. The win stops a brief two game losing streak for the Pioneers.
The Pioneers (3-2) led at the half 36-35.
Warren Vinson led all scorers with 18 points. Malik Gaffney added 14 while Marquise Simuel added another double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Adger filled up the stat sheet with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 5 assists.
SMC returns to action this coming Saturday as they host Louisburg College (3-2) at 4:00pm.
