HICKORY, NC., Spartanburg Methodist College Men's Basketball traveled to Catawba Valley Community College on Wednesday night and picked up their fourth win in a row. The Pioneers (10-3) led 48-39 at the half and defeated the Red Hawks 87-73.
Warren Vinson (Rock Hill, SC / Rock Hill High) poured in 19 points to lead SMC. Anthony Adger (Iva, SC / Crescent High) continued his strong play with 17 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and four steals. Marquise Simuels (Columbia, SC / AC Flora High) added 15 points and 11 rebounds while Armani Hill (Rock Hill, SC / Northwestern High) chipped in 11 points and hauled in 12 rebounds.
SMC will return to Bridges Arena on Friday night as they host 22 Feet Academy at 7:30pm.
