CENTRAL, SC., SMC Men's Basketball responded from their first loss since November 21st with a 81-54 road win over Southern Wesleyan JV team on Wednesday night. 

Malik Gaffney and Josh Council led the 18-4 Pioneers with 15 points a piece. Daniel Bridges added 13 points while Hassian Handy chipped in 8. 

SMC will return to Region X action on February 2nd as they travel to Clinton Junior College.
