Hutchinson, KS - The Spartanburg Methodist College Men's Basketball team had yet another one of those amazing years we are accustom to seeing on the court here in Spartanburg. But that all came to a sad end today at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS during the NJCAA Men's National Basketball Tournament. SMC (#16) tipped off against a tough Connors State (#17) team. At the half SMC was up on Connors State 53-47. During the second half of play, Connors State ended up scoring 49 points, while SMC netted 37, to pull away from SMC, and at the end of regulation SMC 90 and Connors State 96.

- Kwei Lartey – 17 points
- Je'Quan Perry – 15 points
- Anthony Adger – 16 points
- Zach Watson – 15 points
- Adarius Avery (CS) led all scorers with 30 points
- SMC finishes the season with a 29-4 overall record
