North Greenville Invitational Results (March 25-26)

The SMC men's golf team competed in the Cherokee Valley Invitation hosted by North Greenville University this past Monday and Tuesday.  The team battled cold and windy conditions both days to finish 5th in the 9 team field.  The team posted scores of 323-328.  The tournament was won by the host team, North Greenville.  The Pioneers scores are as follows:

Cody Frye (Broome HS):  75-84

Zane Price (Aynor HS): 91-74

Travis Smith (Ninety Six HS): 79-85

Grayson Hiott (TL Hanna): 83-90

Matthew Meetze (Chapin HS): 86-86

The Pioneers compete next in the NJCAA District 4 tournament at Boscobel CC in Pendleton SC.  This tournament will serve as the qualifier for the national championship which will be held in Odessa TX in May.
