Men's Golf places seventh

The SMC men's golf team shot a 303 in the final round of the Tusculum Invitational to drop back to 7th place in the 12 team field.  The Pioneers were led by freshmen Hunter Parks who shot a 73 and freshman Briar Herd who shot a 74 in the final round.  

The final results were:

Hunter Parks: 70-73

Briar Herd: 75-74

Matthew Meetze: 72-80

Travis Smith: 80-76

Bernie McShane: 74-80

The Pioneers return to action on October 14-15 at the Southern Wesleyan Invitational in Easley SC.
