Pioneers Win Bob Jones Collegiate

The Pioneers claimed a 14 shot victory over host college Bob Jones University this past week at Cobbs Glen Country Club in Anderson, South Carolina. All five starters on the A-Team finished in the top 10. Sophomore Eli Ricker fired a two day total of 148 to win the event by two shots over fellow Pioneer golfer Sullivan Hooper (150). "Our guys really stepped up and played well this week. I am so proud of Eli and his progression this year and I think he will continue to be a leader. I look forward to our next event at Walters State and I hope to build on this victory" says Coach Kyle Owings. The Pioneers have started hot this season with a third place finish and now a victory. They return to action on October 10 at the Walters State Invitational in Tennessee.
