Tournament Recap for Titan Winter Invitational
The Pioneers finished in 10th place this week at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Florida. The team posted rounds of 300, 319, and 311 for a total of 930 (+66). Junior Lane Whitsell fired a three-round total of 228 (+12) to lead the team. Whitsell’s play resulted in an individual finish of T28th. "Our guys really fought hard this week while playing a tough course that exposed any weaknesses. I can tell the guys are getting momentum for the rest of the events this spring. I look forward to seeing their progression at our next event" says Coach Tyler Jones. The Pioneers return to action on February 20th at Columbia Country Club in Columbia, South Carolina for the CIU Spring Invite hosted by Columbia International University.
