4th Place Finish for the Pioneers at the Pfeiffer Invitational

The Pioneers finished in 4th place out of 10 teams this week in the Pfeiffer Invitational being played at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The team shot rounds of 308 and 316 to finish with a 36-hole total of 624. Sophomore, Wyatt Harrill, led the team with rounds of 74 and 77 to finish in 12th place individually. Freshman, AJ Bolin, was also able to get a top 20 finish individually with rounds of 75 and 78. “Our team played well this week on a difficult golf course. Forest Oaks used to host a PGA Tour event each year from 1977 to 2007. The guys were able to manage the longer holes well and our team is looking forward to starting the postseason journey to the 2024 NJCAA national championship" says Head Coach Tyler Jones. The Pioneers are now finished with regular season tournaments and will start postseason play at the NJCAA Southeast District Championship at Cherokee Ridge Country Club in Union Grove, Alabama on April 21st.
