Men's Golf Competes in the Jefferson State Invitational

The Pioneers finished in 13th place out of 18 teams this week in the Jefferson State Invitational being played at Musgrove Country Club in Jasper, Alabama. The team shot rounds of 309 and 315 to finish with a 36-hole total of 624. Sophomore Wyatt Harrill led the team with rounds of 73 and 79 to finish in 44th place individually. Freshman Parker Harrigan led the team in the second round with a score of 74. “A couple guys had some good rounds this week in Alabama. As a whole, our team did not play up to our potential this week. However, we are going to use this tournament as a learning experience. The team will be ready to compete once the spring season begins" says Head Coach Tyler Jones. The Pioneers are now finished with the fall season and will return to tournament play in the spring of 2024.
