Men's Golf Using Season Opener as Learning Experience

The Pioneers finished in 15th place out of 18 teams this week in the Lioneer Invitational being played at Gulf Shores Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The team shot rounds of 327 and 324 to finish with a 36-hole total of 651. Freshman AJ Bolin led the team in the first round with a score of 77. For both rounds, sophomore Wyatt Harrill led the team with rounds of 80 and 78 to finish in 44th place individually. “A couple guys had some good rounds this week in Alabama. Our team did not play up to our potential this week. However, we are going to use this tournament as a learning experience" says Head Coach Tyler Jones. The Pioneers will return to tournament play at the Alabama Invasion in Union Grove, Alabama on March 9th
