The SMC Men's Soccer team falls to 1-2 on the season after a tough loss away in Milledgeville, GA to Georgia Military College. "We played a very good team today but we just could not finish on the day" said Coach Hughes. The Pioneers had many chances throughout the match even a late penalty to take the game into overtime but could not convert. "We had a penalty late in the match but the GMC keeper came up with a big stop, hats off to him as it gave them the win. We played good on the day, sometimes that just how it goes" said Coach Hughes. The Pioneers will look to bounce back quickly as they play USC Sumter on Monday, September 3 at 4pm on the campus of SMC.
