Spartanburg Methodist College's Dominating Soccer Team Settles for Scoreless Draw Against Southwest Virginia

In what was an incredibly frustrating game for Spartanburg Methodist College's men's soccer team, they couldn't find a way past Southwest Virginia on the 9th of September at 1 PM. Despite outshooting their opponents 15-3, the team failed to score a goal and were forced to settle for a scoreless draw.

Spartanburg Methodist College looked like the better team throughout the match, controlling possession and mounting several attacks on Southwest Virginia's goal. The team was led by William Waters, Sabiano Sandor, and Brandon Porras, who played impressive games and were unlucky not to score.

Apart from failing to score, the pioneers picked up some costly yellow cards against Layton Cave, Antione Garcia, and Davin Starkie. This could come back to haunt them late in the season as they now have players at risk of suspension.
