Men's Tennis off to a strong start in NJCAA National Championship

Plano, TX- The Pioneer Men's Tennis team got off to a great start in the 2015 NJCAA Men's Tennis National Championships on Monday. Zac Dye, Mouhamed Gueye, Harry Reed, Keith Quick, Dalton Hendrix, and Reynard Julien all hope to bring home team and individual titles at the end of the week. 

Zac Dye won 6-3, 6-3 over the overall #6 seed to advance to round two in the singles #1 draw.

Mouhamed Gueye won 6-3, 6-1 in the singles #2 draw and advanced to round two.

Harry Reed had a bye in the singles #3 draw and will begin his play today. 

Keith Quick lost his first round 6-0, 6-0 in the singles #4 draw and falls into the consolation round. 

Dalton Hendrix lost 6-3, and 6-3 in singles #5 draw and falls into the consolation round. 

Reynard Julien won 6-2 and 6-4 in the singles #6 draw and advanced into round two. 

Zac Dye and Dalton Hendrix won their first round doubles match 2-6, 6-4, and 6-2 to advance into round two. Mouhamed Gueye and Harry Reed won 6-3, 6-3 to advance. Reynard Julien and Keith Quick lost 6-1,6-0 in their doubles match.
