Pioneering the Way at the JCSU Golden Bulls Invitational
Sprints shined this weekend at the JCSU Golden Bulls invitational, accounting for 7 of the 11 new personal bests the Pioneers set.
Luke Kochanowicz had the highest individual place of the day finishing in second place with a new personal best in the 3000m. Sophia Outhous and Romeo Brown posted top 10 finishes in the 400 meter hurdles and 100 meter dash respectively.
Olivia Thornton debuted this season in the 800 meter dash, posting a collegiate personal best.
The women's distance medley relay of Averi Vance, Mariela Velazquez, Polly Addington and Sophia Outhous stormed to the finish with a second place overall finish at the meet. The men's distance medley relay of Seth Mullen, Romeo Brown, Marc Mixtega and Luke Kochanowicz would finish in 3rd place respectively.
