Pioneers Set Records in Outdoor Season Opener
Before spring break sets in, the Pioneers took to the track in Central, South Carolina for the Susan Rouse Invitational to open up their outdoor track season. They returned home with a new school record and 11 SMC top ten performances. In her debut in the 100 meter hurdles, freshman Myah Adams took 6th in the meet setting the SMC school record in the process. Sophia Outhous continued her dominance this track season with the second fastest steeplechase in school history and would double back with a new school record in the 400 meter hurdles.
The Pioneers return to the track on March 23rd at Montreat College.
