Region X Softball Tournament Information

Winterville, NC- The 2015 Region X Softball Tournament will begin Friday afternoon in Winterville, NC at 11:00am. The #4 seed Harford Community College Fighting Owls will face #5 seed USC Salkehatchie Indians. The second game of the day will feature the #3 seed Louisburg Hurricanes and the #6 seed USC Sumter Fire Ants.

Pitt Community College will host a dinner for all the teams at 6:30pm and the awards banquet will follow at 7:30pm.  

Saturday morning play will feature the defending tournament champions and #1 seed Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers and the winner of #4-Harford CC and #5- USC Salkehatchie at 10:00am. #2 seed Pitt Community College will face the winner of #3-Louisburg and #6-USC Sumter at 10:00am. 

Losers bracket games will begin at 12:30pm while the winners bracket championship game will be played at 3:00pm. Another losers bracket game will follow at 5:30pm Saturday evening.  

11:00am on Sunday will be the Losers bracket finals and the Tournament Championship game will follow. A "if neccessary" game would be played right after the Championship game.
