BLACK MOUNTAIN< NC., SMC traveled to Montreat College on Tuesday and took both games of the double header, each game ending in five innings. SMC woon game one 15-2 and game two 11-2.
SMC improves to 29-5 on the year and have now won 22 games in a row. Teagan Crosby andKayla Price earned the wins in the circle. Kaleigh Busbee continued her hot hitting with four hits and five rbi. Morgan Smith added four hits on the day as well. Busbee and Brooke Palmer each added home runs.
SMC returns to play Wednesday March 23rd at home against East Georgia College. The double header at Gordon State College has been cancelled due to the forecasted rain.
