Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball Falls In Back-And-Forth Affair Against East Georgia State College

Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball and East Georgia State College passed the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually East Georgia State College prevailed 10-7. The game was tied at seven with East Georgia State College batting in the top of the seventh when Abigail Johnson singled off of Teagan Crosby, driving in one run.

East Georgia State College took an early lead in the first inning. East Georgia State College 's big inning was driven by a double by Taylor Long and a home run by Hand.
Teagan Crosby took the loss for Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball . She threw two and two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs, eight hits, and striking out one.
Emily Johnson started the game for Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball . She pitched four and a third innings, giving up three runs, five hits, and striking out four.
Home runs for Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball came when Brooke Palmer homered in the first inning, Matsuda homered in the fifth inning, and Jaramillo homered in the fifth inning.
