Game One:

Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Surry Community College

Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball defeated Surry Community College 14-8 in a back-and-forth affair on Friday. The game was tied at six with Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball batting in the bottom of the third when Lindsey Mason doubled off of Cassidy Wise, driving in three runs.

Lindsey Mason led Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball to victory by driving in five runs. She went 3-for-3 at the plate. Mason drove in runs on a stolen base in the second, a double in the third, and a single in the fifth.

Surry Community College captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Surry Community College.Surry Community College scored five runs in the second inning. In the third Cassidy Wise induced Dienna White to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Emily Johnson singled off of Wise, driving in one run, and Wise walked Olivia Dunlap to drive in a run.

Elizabeth Josey earned the win for Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball . She tossed seven innings, surrendering eight runs, 11 hits, and striking out three.

Teagan Crosby didn't allow a single run as Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball defeated Surry Community College 8-0 on Friday. Crosby allowed just four hits and induced a groundout from Cassidy Wise to end the game.

An early lead helped propel Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball to victory.Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball scored on a home run by Whittney Purdy, a home run by Ashton Osborne, and a home run by Olivia Matsuda in the first inning.
