Softball Splits with Columbia College on the road

Columbia, SC. - Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers jumped out to an early lead over Columbia College and took home a 4-1 victory on Friday. SMC took the lead on a home run in the second inning.
SMC had six hits in the game. Jaramillo and Dienna White each collected multiple hits for Spartanburg Methodist. Jaramillo led SMC with three hits in three at bats.
Spartanburg Methodist College had trouble keeping up with Columbia College in a 4-0 loss on Friday in the night cap of a double header.
Teagan Crosby took the loss for Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers Softball. She tossed six innings, allowing four runs, eight hits, striking out three, and walking one.
Columbia College didn't commit a single error in the field. R Prosser had 13 chances in the field, the most on the team.
