Softball Heads Into Region X Tournament Third Seed

"This 2021 season has been like no other", says Coach Hill.

The Pioneers finished the regular season 16-28 and 5-7 in the region play. The Pioneer roster looked strong in the Fall of 2019 with 28 players but after several injuries and Covid throwing off the fall season, the Pioneers have struggled to find the spark to light the fire. 

The Softball Region X Tournament is April 30-May 2nd and the Pioneers have found themselves third seed going into the tournament. They are to take on second seed, USC Union on Friday at 3 pm in Walterboro, SC.

"We are preparing this week and doing all that we can to be ready. This year has been hard but we are not the same team that we started out as. I think we have come a long ways and we are excited to see what happens in tournament!" - Coach Hill
