Pioneer post players Beatrice Williams (10 points -10 rebounds) and Shanolla Council (14 points -12 rebounds) sparked the Pioneers to a convincing 71-39 win over visiting Emmanuel College JV squad. Freshman guard Tanaya Turpin drained back to back to back three pointers mid way through the second half to increase the Pioneer lead to 25 points.
The Pioneers led at the half 27-13
SMC is now 4-3 on the season and will return to action on November 28th at home vs Guilford CC.
