The Lady Pioneer basketballl team traveled to Montreat College on Wednesday night to take on the Cavalier JV team. SMC (2-5) picked up a solid win over Montreat 64-51.
Ten Lady Pioneers scored on the night led by Morgan Alexander's 15 points and 12 rebounds. Katie Dyches added 12 points and four assists while Mariah Williams chipped in 10 points and had three steals. Chelsea Siebles had eight assists on the night.
SMC travels to East Georgia State College on Saturday. The Lady Pioneers defeated the Cougars earlier this season 53-46
