Whittenburg-Harris lead Lady Pioneers in win

Tori Whittenburg scored 17 of her game high 20 points in the first half (4-5- three pointers) to give the Lady Pioneers (6-9) a 14 point lead with ten minutes left in the first half. A late run by Chatahoochee Tech cut the Pioneers lead down to five at the break (43-38).
Tamornay Harris continued her strong play of late with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Coach Clark bragged on her sophomore guard after the game, "Tamornay played well tonight, she has been a crucial part of our offense and defense the last couple of games. I'm expecting her game to only strengthen from here on out."
Three Pioneers finished in double figures, Whittenburg- 20 points on 7-14 from the floor. Harris with 17 points, and Morgan Alexander with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

SMC shot 43% (26-60) from the floor, 41% (7-17) from 3 point range, and 42% (9-21) from the free throw line.
