Spartanburg Methodist College sophomore guard Mariah Williams (Lancaster, SC / Indian Land High) drained a runner at the buzzer to help Pioneers (10-10) hold off Clinton Junior College 67-65.
Williams led SMC with 19 points, Tori Whittenburg added 15 and Raziya Prince has 12. The Pioneers (1-1) will look to extend their winning streak to five as they take on Denmark Tech
SMC has won both meetings so far this season over Clinton 68-65 and 67-65.
