Lady Pioneers drop Region X game to Denmark Tech

SPARTANBURG, SC- The Lady Pioneers looked to create a winning streak and pick up a big Region X win on Tuesday night in Bridges Arena. Denmark Tech had other ideas, SMC fell behind early in the first half and could never catch up. SMC falls to 8-11 overall and 0-2 in Region X play with the 78-59 loss. 

Chelsea Seibles (Fairfield Central High) led the Pioneers with 16 points, Heather Chapman (Summerville High) scored 13 points, all in the second half. Rose Robinson (Dutch Fork High) added 10 points. 

SMC will return to action on Thursday night as they host Milligan College (JV's) in a non-region matchup.
