SPARTANBURG, SC., Shaniqua Brown led all scores with 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Lady Pioneers (7-7) held off Milligan College 54-43 on Tuesday afternoon in Bridges Arena.
Heather Chapman and Jada Martin each scored seven points while Yazmeen Young and Briana Hill added six a piece. Kyah Hawkins had five points, Aliyah Davis scored four and Marianna Eison finished with three.
The Pioneers led 23-13 at the half and by 18 points in the third quarter.
SMC will return to action on January 19th at they host Louisburg College at 5:30pm.
