Allendale, SC – SMC came out with a 6-0 run to start the game against the Indians but their defense was too much for the lady Pioneers. Ta'Keria Legette, played her first game for the Pioneers this season and recorded 13 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
"I am excited to see Takeria develop, she has been such a spark for us in practice and seeing it carry over into last nights game was enlightening" says Coach Clark. The Pioneers rallied from a 26 point deficit in the 3rd quarter of last nights match up against USC Salkehatchie to lose by 12 with a final of 67-79.
The lady Pioneers are back in action Saturday, January 12th at Converse College at 12:00pm.
