Lady Pioneers Win at Converse

The women’s basketball team traveled across town to take down Converse 57-45.

After a strong first half, the Pioneers built the lead to as many as 25 points.  Ta’Keria Legette lead all scorers with 15 points. Freshman, Brittany Mack (9) and sophomore, Aliyah Whiteside (8), also played pivotal roles in the victory.

Coach Macy on the win:  “We are in a season of growing and building as a program. Each practice and game we learn something new about our team and one another.  What I know for sure is that each day we are getting better and better.”

Up next for the Pioneers is Milligan College JV in Bridges Arena on Thursday, November 21 at 5:30pm.
